AddisonMckee gains exclusive U.S. Federal Government Supply Status with Phillips Corporation – Federal Division

World-leading tube-bending and end-forming technology specialists, AddisonMckee, and top manufacturing distributor and GSA contractor Phillips Corporation – Federal Division, have entered into an exclusive supply agreement to bring superior tube manipulation technologies to the U.S. Federal Government.

This new partnership between AddisonMckee and Phillips Corporation will enable all government customers access to the latest tube bending technology at the most competitive price. GSA schedules provide the option of circumventing a lot of the challenges usually associated with the government procurement process. With reduced pricing and simplified terms, GSA purchases enable customers to buy high quality products at a price that is pre-negotiated and deemed fair and reasonable by the federal government. No surprises!

A well-established company in the U.S. Federal Government marketplace since 1961, the goal of Phillips Corporation has always been to deliver the best technology solutions available. The organization’s Federal Division leads the market in the sale, contract administration and procurement of specialized metalworking needs for the U.S. Federal Government. At the same time, it also provides a diverse offering of manufacturing solutions and has GSA schedule coverage via various manufacturers and product lines.

Under the terms of the agreement signed with AddisonMckee, Phillips Corporation’s Federal Division will initially offer five key AddisonMckee models that have been chosen to offer quite different tube manipulation capabilities across such sectors as aerospace and shipbuilding, along with varying price points. The range will then be progressively extended as both organizations gain further momentum in the U.S. Government marketplace.

Comments Christian Rogiers, Vice-President – Marketing, AddisonMckee USA, “We are delighted with the opportunity to offer our tube-bending and end-forming technologies through the Phillips Corporation GSA schedule. At AddisonMckee, we take great pride in delivering superior, highly proven, high-value tube manipulation solutions, along with exceptional levels of customer service and consumables supply.

“With an ethos of enabling government departments to source better-quality products at fair prices, the rationale behind the GSA schedule program closely mirrors the way we do business, and we look forward to bringing new levels of tube manipulation technology reliability, repeatability and accuracy to a whole range of Federal sourcing needs.”

Adds Phillips Corporation – Federal Division Product Manager, Wayne Griffin, “As an official GSA schedule contract holder, we apply the most stringent criteria to any organization wishing to sell its metalworking products and services into the Federal Government. With a world-class product range, many years’ experience in the design and development of tube manipulation machinery, and an unwavering desire to put the customer first, AddisonMckee were more than able to demonstrate why their products are worthy of government purchase, and why they should gain the exclusive status that is associated with appearing in our GSA schedule listings.”

The following AddisonMckee products are now available on the Phillips Corporation GSA schedule:

DataBend DB25

An all-electric, high performance draw-bending machine that is used predominantly across the automotive and aerospace industries typically for bending tube of 1” maximum diameter for brake lines and air-conditioning equipment. With clean, quiet operation, reduced running and maintenance costs, and sophisticated programming for high-quality tight radii, thin wall bends, the DB25 is ideal for use with exotic materials and close-tolerance components.

PowerBend PB42, PB75 and PB100 models

AddisonMckee’s recently introduced PowerBend range of CNC tube benders was created to provide those manufacturers requiring only standard 3-axis solutions with the world-leading quality, precision and reliability that AddisonMckee is renowned for, at an exceptionally competitive price.

A high-performance draw-bending range, PowerBend models offer the accurate, repeatable production of tubular components. PB42 models are for bending maximum tube diameters of 1 5/8”; PB75 models bend tube of up to 3” diameter, and PB100 models are for maximum tube diameters of 4”.

PowerForm PF70-RS

AddisonMckee manufactures a comprehensive range of tube end-forming and cutting machinery for a wide variety of applications. Based upon the company’s highly proven FormMaster machines, the recently introduced PowerForm range offers an exceptionally cost-effective option. The PF70-RS model provides improved dimensional accuracy and shape control both inside and outside the tube and uses inside expanding fingers and outside reducing jaws to produce tighter tolerance parts at a lower cost.
